St Michael’s Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary school is a well known school all over Kerala. For the past one and half centuries the school has been helping many generations of students to sail through the turbulent waters of life to achieve their divinely destined goals. St. Michael’s School, started in 1865, is managed by the Jesuits, the members of a Religious Order known as the Society of Jesus. The society was founded by St. Ignatius of Loyola in 1540. St Ignatius sent his dearest and the most famous companion, St. Francis Xavier to India. With the coming of Xavier, began the long and distinguished tradition of Jesuit education in India.

ST.MICHAEL'S PRE-PRIMARY, KANNUR
St Michael’s Pre-Primary School consists of Play school, LKG and UKG. The Pre-Primary school is functioning in modern building in a warm and confortable ambience. The school has got all the infrastructural facilities including a mini kids park for the integral growth of the children. Over the years the school has developed a curriculum, with sufficient time and space for rest and relaxation, for the all-round development of the tiny tots. The Present Director of the school is Rev Fr Diminic Madathaniyil SJ. Altogether 450 children are studying here. There are nineteen members on the staff, looking after the growth, development and welfare of the children. Admission forms will be distributed in the first week of January. Admission is only to Play School. For admission age of the children should be between 2 1/2 and 3 1/2 years on June 1st
